CURRICULUM

CURRICULUM

Our Bible curriculum is Orange. Orange is a curriculum that supports teachers in teaching their preschoolers about God through Bible stories and activities that can be carried over to the home environment for application and exploration with families.

Our academic curriculum is the Core Knowledge Sequence. CK focuses on the physical, social, linguistic, and cognitive skills during the pre-kindergarten stage of development.

In pre-kindergarten, we will focus on the Level 2 skillset which consists of, but are not limited to, using and understanding quantitative, spatial, and descriptive vocabulary, mastering the fine motor skills needed for writing, cutting, and using a variety of materials to create, gaining a strong foundation in phonics using the Zoo-Phonics program to enable early reading skills, scientific reasoning, and sequencing, listening to stories and being able to retell them, identifying and managing our emotions, and learning to problem solve.
